We have seen the effect that this had on society as the right wing decided to make it a political issue.You would think that things would be a lot different if only some of these social issues were addressed then our greatest generation would be happy. People try to get people to look at these problems from the perspective of a victim. Victimhood has always been a good thing to look for. I know th at there are some reasons that were created by some to increase the social status of the women.However, it is important to look at the issues from a broader perspective so we do not see them as being social issues. In America you have the New York Times that says, 'Women are making significant gains in public office.' Well, let me ask you this, why would you read something like that when men are not? Why not look at the actions that have been taken by women for change in the society?The fact that the issues of sexism, racism, or injustice towards minorities are not addressed by the media in America is a huge problem. I do not understand how a minority group could affect the way the country is run by the American people. The media in America has a great influence over the lives of all the people. These matters need to be looked at from a broader perspective.I know that women and minorities in America will continue to fight to get equality of rights for their rights to freedom, health care, and just to be treated fairly. It is time that all of these issues were looked at from a wider perspective and not a victim perspective. Remember, the cause of many social issues in America are not from minorities, they are from the wrong kind of people.Whatever the causes and effects are of the social issues in America, we must realize that it is not always people from minorities that is causing these issues. Maybe we should look at the causes and effects of the social issues in America. I believe that the media should be looking at social issues in America and not only focus on the causes and effects.Some of the most important social issues in America are coming from the senior citizens. Most people do not know that these senior citizens are really hurting from lack of rights that they were used to before. The fact that the Republican agenda is about one, that requires the government to provide social services for the senior citizens to help them make it, is a very disturbi ng thing. It will only get worse with age, if the Republicans get their way.
